Today we went to see a Minuteman missile silo and to the South Dakota Air and Space Museum near Rapid City. From there we went to Mount Rushmore. I got to see Mount Rushmore, but only because it is big and I could see it from the parking lot.
Mom and Dad said that there were a lot of displays and things that they were able to look at. When they were done, we went a little way down the road and got a nice camp site at a National Forest Service Campground on a small lake.
We walked around the lake and made dinner. Then, we drove back to Mount Rushmore and Mom and Dad went to the evening program and lighting ceremony.
